Begun in March 2018 and nursed over the ensuing months, A QUIET TALK is the first major sculptural piece from Studio Stuffsmith in a few years, and marks a return to the found-object practice I've been honing over the decades. The mirror is mounted to its stand on an upward-tilting angle, pushing my long-running series of altered hand mirrors into its most complex form yet.
